Terms of Service

A slot is the right to have your creative shown on one numbered screen, starting when we approve it and ending the moment someone outbids you. You are not buying the screen, a fixed period of time, a guaranteed number of views, a placement in any particular position, or any physical advertising anywhere in the world. The city is an illustration. No real billboard is rented on your behalf.

Every screen has an opening bid derived from its pixel dimensions and its neighbourhood. Once a screen is held, the next bid must exceed the standing bid by at least $1. The highest confirmed bid holds the screen.

Bids are payments, not deposits. You are charged in full when you bid. If someone later outbids you, your creative comes down and you are not refunded — you paid for the period you held the screen, which may turn out to be short. Do not bid more than you are willing to lose on that basis.

If two payments for the same screen settle at once, the higher bid wins. If yours is the lower one it is marked outbid, and we will refund it on request at hello@24boards.lol.

Every submission is reviewed by a human before it appears. We may reject or remove any creative, at any time, for any reason or none, including after payment. If we reject your creative before it is displayed, we will refund you in full. If we remove it after it has been displayed, we may refund some or none of what you paid, at our discretion, depending on how long it ran and why it was removed.

Review is not an endorsement and we do not verify the claims in your creative or on your site.

You must not submit anything that:

• is illegal, or promotes illegal goods, services or conduct;
• is sexually explicit, gratuitously violent, or promotes hatred against or harassment of any person or group;
• infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, likeness, privacy or other rights, or that you do not have the right to use;
• impersonates a person, brand or organisation, or misrepresents your identity or affiliation;
• is deceptive — including false claims, fake urgency, malware, phishing, or a site that behaves differently for us than for the public;
• advertises regulated categories we are not equipped to vet: securities and crypto offerings, gambling, pharmaceuticals, weapons, tobacco, or adult services;
• targets or identifies a private individual;
• is directed at children under 13.

You are responsible for your creative and your site, including any change you make to the site after approval. Substituting different content behind an approved URL is a breach of these terms and forfeits your slot without refund.

You grant Mokline LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize, crop and reproduce your creative, your name and your logo for the purpose of running 24 Boards and showing what is on it — including in screenshots and promotional material. This licence ends when your creative comes down, except for material already published.

You keep all ownership of your creative. You confirm you have the rights to grant this licence.

Videos are embedded from YouTube and are subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. We do not host them. If a video is removed, made private, or blocked from embedding at the source, your screen may show nothing, and that is not grounds for a refund. We are not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

The service is provided as is, with no promise of uptime, traffic, impressions, clicks, or that anyone will see your creative at all. We may change the city, the screens, the pricing, the number of slots, or the rules, and we may suspend or end the service entirely. If we end it permanently, we will refund the unused portion of any slot currently displayed, calculated at our reasonable discretion.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes you may owe. Chargebacks made without first contacting us at hello@24boards.lol will result in removal of your creative and a ban from the service.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Mokline LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

You will indemnify Mokline LLC against any claim arising from your creative, your site, or your breach of these terms.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction.
